Word of the day
Dunja [doonya]
a type of fruit, called quince in English. It has a shape of an apple and a pear, it's yellow (when ripe) and very tough to eat, but it has a very delicious taste. Serbs use it for making jams or for brandy (called dunjevača).

Language Learning Anecdote

What is the difference between children and adults learning a foreign language?

- Children learn it quickly and forget it quickly.
- Adults learn it slowly and forget it quickly.

But please, don’t get discouraged. Once you learn a foreign language, if you keep using it you won’t lose it.
