Accents paradigm in Serbian

Use these as the basis for checking the accent on new words and remember these facts:

  • Both long and short falling accents occur on the first syllable of the word.
  • Rising accent cannot occur on the word that has one syllable.
  • Rising accent occurs on any syllable but the last.
